some wise words courtesy of paulo coelho... i have found these quotes to be inspiring and quite intriguing. it's appropriate that i'm in this stage of life; a time to learn, a time to sit back and reflect, a time to look ahead with hope, and a time to enjoy.

I love the desert, and it's a good home, however I still miss the trees.
But I suppose that's what the Sierras are for ;)
Hi,
I saw your post on rockclimbing.com about climbing in Hawaii. There is great climbing in Oahu, especially on the North side of the island (not near north short), but on road 930, past Dillingham airfield, past the YMCA camp, a little trail on the left heads up into the field and off to the cliffs. I climbed there last summer and it was great. Climb in the morning and swim right out on the beach across in the afternoon. The beach is quiet and you can swim with Turtles! The climbs are well marked (they actually have a system in place, so that you can top rope difficult climbs without hiking to the top!!)
